F/W 2010/2011: Baroque Balmain

Extremely hot and sexy, with a touch of baroque and nineties – that’s how I can describe the collection of Balmain. Decarnin knows how to go edgy, even if he takes his inspirations from different centuries. This season he went for frock coats, gold, sequin, brocade – all inspired by Louis XIV. The big-shouldered silhouette is still IN and seems to be one of the brand’s mainstay, as well as shiny gowns in sooooo well-known cut: short in front, long in back.
What I really like about Decarnin, is his loyalty to the style that he created for Balmain. And plus one more thing: he definitely appreciates the beauty of polish women!
